Artrageous Art Club is seeking several part-time elementary/middle school art teachers to teach fine art (drawing and painting) in our ECA after-school art programs and/or in our Saturday Academy at schools located in Dubai starting in August/September 2026.
Our ECA after-school program and our Saturday Academy coincide with the academic schedule of each school, with each of three terms (starting in September, January and April) running approximately 12 weeks long. We also teach classes on Saturday mornings in our Saturday Academy.
We pay approximately 125-150 AED per classroom hour, paid monthly. Each school has approximately 6-8 classroom hours per week available (including setup and cleanup time). Our Saturday Academy has about 5 classroom hours per week available (including setup and cleanup time). There are many opportunities for additional income if you wish to teach in our week-long holiday and school-break camps as well. Exact salary will be determined based on your qualifications, experience, and role (Head Teacher vs. Assistant Teacher).
These are part-time positions, and you need to have your own resident visa (we will procure a part-time labor card for you). We are looking for teachers who can commit to the entire academic year (September through June).
All curriculum, lesson plans, materials and training will be provided, however you must be able to work autonomously, such as manage inventory of materials, do any prep work, and ensure you have what you need prior to each class.
REQUIREMENTS:
- You must have or be able to obtain a police clearance certificate, a first aid/cpr/aed certificate, and a safeguarding level 1 certificate, all of which will be provided and paid for by Artrageous Art Club, as needed.
- You must also be able to provide your own transportation to and from the school.
- English language fluency is essential.
- Prior experience in teaching or working with children is highly desired.
- Professional background and/or education in studio art (especially fine art drawing and painting) is essential. We do recognize and highly respect that many artists are self-taught, so if you do not have any formal art education or degree, we would still encourage you to apply, however, we would require evidence of your knowledge and fundamental drawing/painting skills, such as a portfolio.
WHO YOU ARE:
This would be a great opportunity for:
- a university student who is studying art or art education and is looking for a paid internship.
- a mom/artist who is looking for a part-time job that works around the school year schedule
- a full-time primary or secondary school art teacher who is looking for additional after-school or weekend income.
- a freelance professional artist who is passionate about teaching children fundamental art skills
TO APPLY:
Interested candidates should email their CV (pdf) and PORTFOLIO (pdf or link to website) attention to Natalie at hello@artrageousartclub.com.
